I live in Portland, Maine, land of lobster and pine trees. I'm a voracious reader and have lately come to being able to travel - my area of preference is Europe. Researching my trips meant that I tried to learn as much about the area I was going to as possible; hence, reading about Ireland when we planned to travel there in 2006. This story has been germinating since that time, with several fits and starts. I truly appreciate you sharing this adventure with me.
