Kate McGinn is an indie writer of stories full of plot twists, suspense, and romance. When she isn't writing, she works as a wild puppy wrangler. She often finds herself running through the house, playing tug-of-war and pinned under an 80 lb. lap dog. Kate lives near the Mississippi River in Wisconsin with her husband and the aforementioned lab. She loves to travel, read, drink wine, read, write and read. She did mention reading, right?
Kate McGinn has written since she was young. Life interfered with any serious efforts to write for many years. Two years ago, she started writing again. She joined the Write On by Kindle writing forum. After a couple months of observation and reading other people's stories, she started to post her own short stories and work on her first book, Exodus.
Exodus was published in August 2016. Kate is currently writing the second book in the Clare Thibodeaux Series and plans to publish Winter's Icy Caress in May 2017.
Kate loves to read a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction books. Her favorite genres are mystery/thrillers, suspense, romance, fantasy and chic lit. She is a history nut and has a love/hate relationship with all things political.
Kate and her husband have two adult sons and a wonderful daughter-in-law. They live in a lovely, old home near the Mississippi River in Wisconsin. Kate loves to travel and learn about new cultures. She lived in Italy for four years and plans to spend her retirement on a beach with a good book and a fruity beverage with an umbrella stuck in it.
