Jessica Wren is an indie author who loves mixed genres. Her favorite is the thriller-paranormal combination. She also have a special place in her heart for Latin American-style magical realism. Jessica, however, will never turn down a good dystopian novel and, in fact, has a dystopian trilogy in mind as a future project.
Jessica Wren is a lifelong writer. After receiving her first book review at age twelve (from a caring English teacher), she decided that she was going to be a writer, come hell or high water. After many false starts and incomplete projects, she finally completed "Ice' in 2014. She is hoping that "Ice" and any subsequent works will give the reader the same special joy that she felt while writing them. She was inspired by the works of Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Isabel Allende while working on her master's degree in Spanish literature at Georgia Southern University (Go, Eagles!). Jessica is a lifelong resident of Georgia, where she lives with her husband, her daughter, a dog, and two cats.
